Junichiro Baba, b. 1964

A former Penland Resident Artist, Junichiro Baba graduated from the Rochester Institute of Art and maintains studios in Japan and North Carolina. His cast glass sculpture evokes memories of the spirit of nature. Growing up in the ultra-urban Tokyo made Baba aware of natural forces.
