Mint Museum Uptown

Indulge in romantic Latin American songs by Café Amaretto (@cafeamarettomusic), and traditional Brazilian dance, capoeira, and samba by the NC Brazilian Arts Project (@ncbrazilianartsproject).

Through Latin guitar sounds, melodious vocals, spoken poetic voices, Brazilian-themed dances and costumes, the night will highlight Latin culture through different creative mediums.

Land and Labor Acknowledgement

The Mint Museum sits on colonized land traditionally home to Catawba, Cheraw, Sugaree, Waxhaw, and other Indigenous peoples who resided, met, and traded here. The Mint also acknowledges the unpaid and hidden labor of enslaved peoples of African ancestry who helped build the Mint Museum at Randolph Rd at various stages in the building's history.
