Mint Museum Randolph

This month, make a snake with model magic clay and stamp patterns on it, inspired by the black and white pottery of Laguna artist Myron Sarracino (Kaa Ooa Dinn Naa).
Practice close looking and discover how the artist connects with the natural world and his ancestors. Visit Mint Museum Randolph Wednesday, October 2 through Saturday, October 5 during museum hours to pick up a fun all-ages project to create at home. Free Art Kits are supported by Mint Museum Auxiliary.

*While supplies last, during museum hours: Wednesday 11 AM-9 PM | Thursday-Saturday 11 AM-6 PM

The Mint Museum sits on colonized land traditionally home to Catawba, Cheraw, Sugaree, Waxhaw, and other Indigenous peoples who resided, met, and traded here. The Mint also acknowledges the unpaid and hidden labor of enslaved peoples of African ancestry who helped build the Mint Museum at Randolph Rd at various stages in the building's history.
