November 6 @ 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Sue Monk Kidd’s The Invention of Wings is set in early 19th Century Charleston and presents two extraordinary women: one an urban slave descended from Fon people of western Africa; the other a planter-class Charlestonian who evolved into a Quaker abolitionist and feminist.
