More about the performers:
Alan M. Greenberg has played cello intermittently since 1956. After a career as a college librarian and a book indexer, he has returned in retirement to cello playing as a form of Christian service. He has played at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center, local churches, retirement homes, and community events. He is the founder of the Piedmont Piano Trio.
Nancy Rubenstein began her piano studies at the age of three. She has degrees in music from the University of Tampa and the University of Colorado, Boulder, and has taught both privately and in the public schools. As a pianist, Nancy devotes herself to collaborative playing. As founder of the project MUSIC REBORN, she has researched composers who were persecuted, and whose works were banned by the Third Reich, and has collected rare scores and organized concerts since 2003. Nancy is the proud mother of three grown daughters and two cats, and is grandmother of four.
