About Titi Ademola: KIKI Clothing is the brainchild of Titi Ademola, a Ghanaian/ Nigerian fashion designer, who is focused and dedicated to creating African inspired collections that are meticulously made in Ghana.
After undertaking a Bachelors degree in Fashion Design from the London College of Fashion, Titi transferred her degree to the American InterContinental University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a concentration in Marketing.
Thereafter she had the valuable experience of interning with renowned designer Betsey Johnson in New York City and working for Burberry.
Staying true to her desire to relocate back to West Africa, KIKI Clothing was eventually born. Highlighted in Vogue Italia, Elle Italia, The Daily Telegraph UK, Glamour Magazine SA, CNN, BBC and other leading media outlets, KIKI Clothing has also had its ever popular Handkerchief hem dress, photographed by the one and only Mario Testino for Vogue US and worn by Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o. In addition, the KIKI brand has been featured and celebrated on the red carpet by Hollywood actress Nicole Ari Parker and reality star, Tiffany Jones.
Exhibiting collections in Accra, Lagos, Mauritius, Johannesburg, as well as London and Rome, has brought well received brand recognition and inspiring opportunities to the KIKI label.
‘I wanted to give credence to the magnificence of Africa’s distinctive creative and artistic ability, through the production of exquisite and wearable clothing and accessory items. Items which speak to Africa Rising. Items which speak to contemporary, fashionable, Afro-politian Africa. Items which speak to the distinct, unique stylistic preferences and trends of her people’.
