Public Talk: Victoria L. Rovine

UNC-Chapel Hill Professor Victoria L. Rovine specializes in African art with a focus on African textiles and dress practices. She also has a keen interest in Africa’s presence in Western visual culture, particularly in early twentieth century Europe.
She is a contributing essayist to the catalog for African Print Fashion Now!. Join her for an intriguing conversation about the innovations of African designers and the influence of African style on European fashion design’s past and present. A light reception will follow.
