Sunday Fun Day – My Carolina Home

Journey through the paintings of a 20th century artist and Carolina native in the special exhibition From New York to Nebo: The Artistic Journey of Eugene Thomason, and mine your own memories of home to inspire creative art.

1-4 p.m.
Watercolor a Carolina memory
Craft an “old school” pennant for your favorite team
Enjoy family yoga with Margaret Maurice

2 p.m. & 3 p.m.
Carolina Folk Music: Listen & Learn!
with musician and educator Patrick Crouch & acoustic powerhouse Jack Lawrence
(20 minute musical “informances”)

1-5 p.m. View the museum galleries and go on a scavenger hunt

Today is Special Exhibition Day! Fees will be waived for From New York to Nebo: The Artistic Journey of Eugene Thomason.

We will be handing out goodies for Norm of the North while supplies last!

Like a coat check, you sign a claim ticket and give us your bike. We give you the ticket stub. After the event, you return the stub and we return your bicycle. Never has riding your bike to events been so easy!
