Mint Museum Uptown houses the internationally renowned Craft + Design collection, as well as outstanding collections of American, contemporary, and European art.
Designed by Machado and Silvetti Associates of Boston, the five-story, 145,000-square-foot facility combines inspiring architecture with cutting-edge exhibitions to provide visitors with unparalleled educational and cultural experiences. Located in the heart of Charlotte’s burgeoning city center, Mint Museum Uptown is an integral part of the Levine Center for the Arts, a cultural campus that includes the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts and Culture, the Knight Theater, and the Duke Energy Center. Mint Museum Uptown also features a wide range of visitor amenities, including the 240-seat James B. Duke Auditorium, the Lewis Family Gallery, art studios, a restaurant, and a museum store.

Step 1 – Get to Mint Museum Uptown
Public Transportation
For the Charlotte Area Transportation System, use bus stops 2, 16, 18, and 19 which is within walking distance of Mint Museum Uptown.
The nearest LYNX Light Rail stop to Mint Museum Uptown is the 3rd Street Station at the Charlotte Convention Center.
Step 2 – Park at Levine Center for the Arts Parking Garage

Cars and Vans
Parking is available for vehicles up to 9 feet tall in the Levine Center for the Arts Parking Garage located on Stonewall Street between Tryon and Church Streets. If using GPS, you can enter address 130 West Stonewall Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 to find the garage entrance.
Discounted parking rates for the Levine Center for the Arts, The Green, and Two Wells Fargo are:

On Carolina Panthers game day Sundays, Childress Klein will charge a $20 fee to park in the decks below Levine Center for the Arts. Mint guests will be exempt from the charge as long as they inform the attendants upon entering the garage. Guests need to pay the regular flat weekend fee of $5 to park for the afternoon.
Step 3 – Use the Elevators
After you park your vehicle, head for the Plaza Elevators (as opposed to the Duke Energy Tower Elevators). The P★ level will take you to the street level and the museum store. The 2 level will take you to the Halcyon and the entrance to the museum.
