  Mint Museum Uptown  |  Ongoing

Ten of the world’s most innovative artists created works especially for The Mint Museum, demonstrating spectacular examples of glass, jewelry, furniture, fiber art, ceramics, metalwork, carved wood, and lighting design.

To celebrate the October 2010 grand opening of the Mint Museum Uptown, The Mint Museum of Craft + Design launched Project Ten Ten Ten. The museum commissioned 10 of the world’s most innovative craft and design artists to create works especially for the new facility. When the doors opened in October 2010, visitors saw spectacular examples of glass, jewelry, furniture, and fiber art installed in the Craft + Design galleries by major artists Danny Lane, Ted Noten, Joseph Walsh, and Hildur Bjarnadóttir. Since then, the museum has introduced equally striking commissions by Tetsunori Kawana, Kate Malone, Ayala Serfaty, Cristina Córdova, Susan Point, and Tom Joyce.
